How far along: 20 weeks…. we’re half way there!

Baby is the size of: a tomato (10.6 ounces)

Movement: Today we had our anatomy scan and we were able to see Dita kicking and rolling around on the technician’s screen. It was the coolest thing ever! Check out a few of the best photos from the scan. I’m pretty sure she has her daddy’s lips…

I’m feeling: Great! This week my belly has definitely popped ( about two days after I took my official 20 week photo) and my belly is definitely feeling tight. It feels like I ate too much 🙂 If you don’t believe me that my belly finally popped, check out this picture from my POV:

Exercise: Konrad and I have been doing lots of work around the house and also went on a nice long walk and explored the neighborhood behind ours. We even picked a big bowl of plums from a tree that was along the way.

Sleep: I have definitely been having those vivid/crazy pregnancy dreams that I’ve heard people talk about. They haven’t been every night, but it’s fun to tell Konrad about them when I’ve had them.

What I’m reading: I Finished up with Diaper Free and read the rest of The No-Cry Sleep Solution which I had started a few months back but never finished because of the move. I’m now reading Baby Signing and have even created a few YouTube video playlists for the signs that Dita will learn first. We’ve picked this set as the ones we’ll teach her first, and this set for what we’ll teach her once she starts getting the hang of the first set. After that we’ll teach her as many as we can learn ourselves.

Baby preparations: The nursery set we ordered arrived and Konrad got it all put together. We also put one of the storage units from our room into the nursery and found a very cute owl sculpture to put in the room. Take a look.

Other exciting things: This week I discovered Motherhood Maternity and was finally able to find some maternity clothes that I LOVE! I may have gone a little hog wild 🙂
