How We Got Engaged
Konrad spent months looking for the perfect ring. When he found it, he decided that Christmas Eve was the perfect evening to propose. Pamela’s favorite holiday is Christmas, and what better way to make her holiday then asking her to spend the rest of their lives together.
Pamela spent most of the afternoon cooking the two of them a delicious turkey dinner with all the fixings. Meanwhile Konrad was busy sneaking ice from the freezer to keep the bottle of Champagne hidden in the back room cold.
After eating a delicious candlelit dinner, Konrad and Pamela sat down to continue their holiday movie marathon of Harry Potter. After having spent so much time in the kitchen, Pamela was already talking about bed time at 6pm! Unbeknownst to her, Konrad was planning the perfect time to pop the question.
With time running out Konrad snuck off to the back room to prepare the ring. He placed it in a beautiful shell shaped ring box and returned to the living room. He told Pamela that in addition to the presents under the tree he had one more gift for her. He pulled out the box and slowly opened it to reveal a ring sparkling with blue and white diamonds. That’s when he popped the question…. “Will you marry me?”
Pamela’s first excited reaction was to blurt out “are you serious?!” which was quickly followed by a big kiss. After she said yes Konrad pulled out his second surprise, the bottle of Champagne, and they toasted to their future.
How romantic……Love it! It brought tears to my eyes…..(so did the ice end up melting in the back room?)
